Visa Fees for Pakistani Passport Holders 2026: Country-by-Country Comparison
Last updated 2026-10-20 · VisitVisaInfo Editorial Team
VisitVisaInfo lists 72 countries with a published visa fee for Pakistani passport holders, and every fee is shown in the official currency the government sets, with no conversion. The table below runs from visa on arrival to eVisa and ETA, then countries where the route depends on your situation, and finally embassy visas, so you can see the cost next to the type of application.
Nepal, Rwanda and Sri Lanka charge no fee for a standard tourist visit, and China waives its visa fee for ordinary Pakistani passports (its visa centre still charges a service fee). At the other end, Ghana's standard eVisa is US$260 and Turkey's 3-month sticker visa is PKR 52,200.
25 Schengen countries share one fee of €90 for adults. For the visa type alone, without prices, see our [visa-free, visa on arrival and eVisa list](https://visitvisainfo.com/guides/visa-free-countries-pakistan).
Fees are what each government publishes; visa centre charges, biometrics and bank fees can be extra, and amounts can change. For 23 more countries we cover, no fee is published or the guide asks you to confirm it, so they are listed separately with a link to check the official site.

How we verify
VisitVisaInfo Editorial Team takes each fee from the destination's own government sources: foreign ministries, immigration departments, embassies in Pakistan and official eVisa portals. A fee appears only when that source states an amount, and it is shown in the source's currency. Where a fee table comes from a visa centre, or extra service charges apply, the note says so. Each country guide carries its own review date.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest visa for a Pakistani passport in 2026?
The cheapest are the ones with no visa fee: Nepal and Rwanda on arrival, and Sri Lanka's tourist ETA. China also charges no visa fee for ordinary Pakistani passports, but its visa centre charges a service fee. Paid options with low published fees include Seychelles (€10), Azerbaijan (US$20 plus US$9 service fee) and Mauritius (PKR 1,400).
Which countries give Pakistanis a free visa?
Nepal (free for up to 30 days on the first visit each calendar year), Rwanda (fee waived for Commonwealth citizens) and Sri Lanka (free 30-day tourist ETA from 25 May 2026). China's visa fee is waived for ordinary passports, with a separate centre service fee.
Do the fees include visa centre service charges?
Usually not. Schengen countries, South Africa (US$50 VFS fee), Canada (CAD 85 biometrics) and Azerbaijan (US$9) add charges on top. Turkey is the exception to watch: its fee table is published by the Anatolia visa centre, so the PKR amounts may include its service charge. Confirm the total when you book.
Are visa fees refundable if my application is refused?
Where the official sources address it, the answer is no. Fees are stated as non-refundable for Bhutan, Ghana, Seychelles, Tajikistan, Philippines, Singapore, Turkey. Uruguay charges its fee only if the visa is granted, and Colombia and Ecuador split the cost so the second payment is due only on approval.
How do I pay a visa fee from Pakistan?
It depends on the country. Online eVisas such as Tanzania, Uganda, Tajikistan and Bhutan are paid by card on the official portal. Turkey takes PKR cash only at Anatolia centres, Mauritius asks for a demand draft, Brazil a deposit and Armenia a bank or e-payments.am payment. Hong Kong bills you only after approval.
Why are some fees in PKR and others in dollars or euros?
We show each fee exactly as the government or embassy publishes it. Embassies in Islamabad often set PKR amounts, while eVisa portals usually charge in US dollars or euros. We do not convert currencies, because exchange rates and bank charges change.
How often are these visa fees updated?
Each country guide is rechecked against its official source, and this table is rebuilt from those guides whenever one changes. The date at the top shows the last rebuild; always check the official site before you pay.
