Pakistani citizens need a Schengen visa (type C) to visit the Czech Republic. You apply in person at the Czech Embassy in Islamabad. Free appointments are given out through an email registration held on the last working day of each month.
Getting a Czech visit visa appointment in Pakistan works like a monthly draw. There is no visa centre and no booking website. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad opens email registration on the last working day of each month, from 12:00 to 18:00 Pakistan time, at islamabad.schengen@mzv.gov.cz. A system with a random element picks applicants according to how many the consular section can handle. Slots open a month in advance, so a registration at the end of October is for appointments in December. The Embassy's next registration dates are 30 October, 30 November and 31 December 2026.
The rules are strict, and one mistake can disqualify you. Put only your passport number in the subject line. In the body, give your full name as it appears in your passport, the visa type and purpose, your expected arrival and departure dates, and your phone number. Attach a PDF scan of your passport data page. Send one email per applicant, although a parent can include minor children, and one family member can include a spouse and children. Send it only within the registration window, keep attachments under 10 MB and do not block reply receipts. The Embassy recommends sending early in the window. If you hear nothing within 14 days, your registration was not successful. Assigned dates cannot be changed, and missing your slot or arriving late without notice cancels it.
Appointments are free. The Embassy says it does not work with any third-party appointment sellers, and the registration email is the only way to get a slot.
On the day, bring a separate application form for each person, filled in with block capital letters and signed (by a guardian for a child under 15). The dates on your form must match the dates in every supporting document. Your passport must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the visa, issued in the last 10 years and have two blank pages. Bring your old passports and a copy of the data page. Fingerprints are taken from applicants over 12. Supporting documents follow the EU's harmonised list for Pakistan (Annex III), and each applicant needs a full set even when travelling with others.
The Embassy says a decision usually comes within 15 days of your appointment and can take up to 45 days. Choose an arrival date that allows for this, because registrations with unrealistic dates are not processed. If your travel dates, hotel or flights change after you apply or after the visa is issued, tell the consulate and send copies of the new documents. Otherwise the visa can be revoked, even during your stay. The Czech Embassy is the right place only when the Czech Republic is where you will spend the most days, or, with an equal split between countries, where you will first arrive.
