Palau’s Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (BCBP) issues a 30-day tourist visa on arrival. Under Executive Order No. 499 of 11 February 2026, travellers from 12 designated countries must get pre-clearance before travel. Pakistan is not on that list, so Pakistani tourists can get the visa at the airport. Every visitor must submit the online Palau Entry Form within 72 hours before departure and sign the Palau Pledge on arrival. The visa can be extended twice, for 30 days each time.

Palau, an island nation in the western Pacific, is famous for the Rock Islands, Jellyfish Lake and some of the world’s best wall and wreck diving. Pakistani passport holders can get a 30-day tourist visa when they land.

The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection says the tourist visa is issued on arrival for short visits for tourism, leisure or social reasons. Since February 2026, Executive Order No. 499 requires pre-clearance for travellers from 12 countries, including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Iran, but Pakistan is not among them.

Before you fly, fill in the online Palau Entry Form within 72 hours of departure. It creates a QR code that the airline and immigration officers scan. On arrival you also sign the Palau Pledge, which is stamped into your passport.

At the counter, show a passport valid at least six months, a return ticket, proof of funds and your hotel details. The officer stamps the visa in minutes. The BCBP immigration page does not list a fee for the initial visa, so confirm it before travelling.

If you want more time, apply at the Division of Immigration at least seven days before expiry. Each 30-day extension costs USD 50, and you can extend twice, for a total stay of up to 90 days.
