Pakistan does not appear on any of the lists in Namibia’s official visa fact sheet, neither visa-exempt nor eligible for visa on arrival, and it is not on the Ministry’s list of ordinary passports exempt for holidays. The fact sheet says travellers from countries not listed require a visa, cannot apply for a visa on arrival, and must obtain an e-visa before travelling, on eservices.mhaiss.gov.na. The e-visa is issued through the portal for you to download and print. A 90-day multiple-entry holiday visa may be granted, and the listed fee for adults from countries outside Africa is NAD 1,600, subject to review, so check the current fee on the portal.
Namibia tightened its entry rules on 1 April 2025, when visitors from countries that had not reciprocated its visa exemption were required to apply for a visa. For Pakistani passport holders that means one clear route: an e-visa obtained online before travel. Pakistan is not on the visa-exempt lists, and it is not eligible for a visa on arrival, so do not fly without the visa in hand.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security sets this out in its official fact sheet. Travellers whose country does not appear on any of its lists require a visa, cannot apply on arrival, and must obtain an e-visa on eservices.mhaiss.gov.na. Pakistan appears nowhere on those lists, and the Ministry’s separate page of ordinary passports exempted for holidays does not include it either.
Applying happens entirely on the portal. You register, choose the application, fill in your details, attach a scanned passport copy and a passport photo between 300 KB and 2 MB, and pay online. The e-visa is then issued through the portal for you to download and print. At the port of entry it doubles as your arrival form, which you sign in front of an immigration officer.
A 90-day multiple-entry holiday visa may be granted if you meet the entry requirements, such as showing adequate funds, and you state how many days you want. Your passport needs 6 months of validity and 3 blank pages, documents must be in English or officially translated, and an invitation letter is required if someone invites you. The fact sheet lists NAD 1,600 for adults from countries outside Africa, subject to review.
No processing time or approval rate is published, so apply early and check the current fee on the portal. E-visas can only be requested from outside Namibia and are valid only for the dates shown, and an approval letter alone does not let you enter. If you need more time once there, the Ministry lists regional offices, including Windhoek, where you can apply for an extension.

Requirements from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security fact sheet. E-visas can only be applied for from outside Namibia.

Quick answers
FAQ
Do Pakistanis need a visa for Namibia?
Yes. Pakistan is not on Namibia’s visa-exempt lists, so Pakistani passport holders need a visa, and it must be an e-visa obtained before travel.
Can Pakistanis get a visa on arrival in Namibia?
No. Namibia’s official fact sheet says that if your country does not appear on its lists, you cannot apply for a visa on arrival and must obtain an e-visa before travelling. Pakistan does not appear on those lists.
Where do I apply for the Namibia e-visa?
On the e-services portal of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, eservices.mhaiss.gov.na. You register, complete the application, upload your passport and photo, and pay online.
How much does the Namibia e-visa cost?
The official fact sheet lists NAD 1,600 for adults and children aged 12 and over from countries outside Africa, NAD 800 per child aged 6 to 11, and nothing for children under 6. The fees are subject to review, so check the current fee on eservices.mhaiss.gov.na.
How long can I stay in Namibia?
A 90-day multiple-entry holiday visa may be granted if you meet the entry requirements. You state how many days you want, and you are granted the number of days you request, within a limit of 90 days in a calendar year.
What documents do I need?
A passport valid for 6 months with 3 blank pages, a recent passport photo between 300 KB and 2 MB, the completed online application and an invitation letter if someone is inviting you. Documents must be in English or officially translated, and you may need to show adequate funds.
How is the e-visa delivered?
It is issued through the online portal. Download and print it, then present it at the port of entry. The e-visa also serves as your arrival form: you sign its arrival section in front of an immigration officer.
How long does processing take?
No processing time is published. Apply early, because you cannot travel or be admitted without a visa issued beforehand.
Can I apply once I am already in Namibia?
No. E-visas can only be applied for from outside Namibia, and each e-visa is valid only for the dates shown on it. If you plan to enter outside those dates, you need a new visa.
Can I extend my stay?
If you need more days, the fact sheet lists Ministry offices where you can apply for an extension, including Khomas Regional Office in Windhoek, Walvis Bay Harbour Office and the regional offices in Keetmanshoop, Rundu, Outapi and Katima Mulilo.
Is an approval letter enough to travel?
No. The Ministry states that an approval letter, with or without proof of payment, is not a permit to enter Namibia; the visa itself must be issued before you travel.
