Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control lists Pakistan as a visa-required country, and Pakistan also appears on its list of nationalities that need a visa even to transit. Pakistani visitors apply online before travel. The only waivers open to Pakistani nationals depend on residence: permanent residents of the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom who arrive directly from that country with a return ticket may enter without a visa for up to 30 days. A US, UK or Canadian visa alone is accepted only for Jamaican, Indian and Chinese nationals.
The Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory south of Cuba, are known for Seven Mile Beach, the stingrays of Stingray City, the wall dives of Little Cayman and the banks and restaurants of George Town. Pakistani passport holders must secure a visa before setting out.
Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control places Pakistan on its visa-required list and also on its transit list, so even a short connection or a cruise call needs a visa. The application is made online through the government portal, no more than three months before travel.
Unlike some Caribbean destinations, Cayman does not let Pakistanis substitute an American, British or Canadian visa; that concession is limited to Jamaican, Indian and Chinese nationals. Permanent residents of the US, Canada or the UK arriving directly from there with a return ticket are exempt for up to 30 days.
The fee is CI$92 (US$112.20), non-refundable and paid by card. Upload a photo, a bank statement, proof of work or study, a passport with six months' validity and a sealed police clearance under six months old. Processing takes seven to ten working days.
After approval you have three months to get the visa endorsed in your passport, and a single-entry visa is generally valid for travel within three months. A multiple-entry visa can be requested for the same fee but is at the issuing officer's discretion.

Quick answers
FAQ
Do Pakistanis need a visa for the Cayman Islands?
Yes. Customs and Border Control lists Pakistan among the countries whose nationals need a visa, and you apply online before you travel.
How much does the Cayman visa cost?
CI$92, which is US$112.20, paid by credit or debit card. It is not refunded if the visa is refused.
Can I use my US visa instead?
No. The US, UK or Canada visa waiver in Cayman applies only to Jamaican, Indian and Chinese nationals arriving directly from the issuing country.
I live in the US with a green card. Do I need a visa?
No, if you arrive directly from the United States with your Alien Registration Card and a return or round-trip ticket to the US. The same idea applies to Canadian permanent residents arriving from Canada or the US, and UK permanent residents arriving from the UK. The stay is limited to 30 days.
What documents do I upload?
A full-face photo, bank statement, proof of employment or studies, a passport valid at least 6 months and an original, sealed police clearance under 6 months old. Children under 18 add a birth certificate.
Do older travellers need a police certificate?
No. Visa nationals aged 71 or over no longer need to provide police clearance.
How long does processing take?
Seven to ten working days, and sometimes longer in peak periods.
When can I apply?
At the earliest, 3 months before your travel date.
What happens after approval?
You have 3 months from approval to have the visa endorsed in your passport. If that period passes, you must apply again.
How long is a single-entry visa valid?
Generally for travel within three months.
Can I get a multiple-entry visa?
You can request one on the form at the same fee, but it is issued only at the officer's discretion.
Do I need a visa just to change planes?
Pakistan is on the transit visa list, so yes, unless your case fits a narrow exception such as leaving by air within 24 hours after arriving by cruise ship, or joining a ship as crew within 24 hours.
Is a cruise stop in George Town covered?
No. The visa FAQs say nationals on the transit list need a visa even for a day stop from a cruise ship.
Can I get a refund if refused?
No. The fee covers processing and is non-refundable.
Is there an official refusal rate for Pakistanis?
No. The Cayman Islands does not publish such figures.
