Pakistan is named in Schedule 3 of Saint Lucia’s Immigration Act (Revised Laws 2023), the list of countries whose citizens require a visa prior to arrival. The Government of Saint Lucia’s country visa table also marks Pakistan “YES (pta)”, meaning prior to arrival. The non-immigrant visa is handled by the Immigration Department of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force. Submit the form at least two weeks before travel; processing takes about five working days. The fee is EC$125 for a single entry or EC$190 for multiple entries over a year.
Saint Lucia, in the Windward Islands of the eastern Caribbean, draws visitors to the twin Pitons, the drive-in volcano at Soufrière and the beaches around Rodney Bay. Pakistani passport holders need a visa arranged before they arrive, and the requirement is written into the island’s law.
Schedule 3 of the Immigration Act, in the 2023 revised laws, lists the countries whose citizens require a visa prior to arrival, and Pakistan is on it with Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and several Gulf states. The Ministry of External Affairs country table also marks Pakistan “YES (pta)”.
Visas for visitors are issued by the Immigration Department of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force. Prepare the application form, two certified passport photos, a passport valid at least six months, a return ticket, an itinerary, proof of hotel or private accommodation, and an invitation letter if a friend or relative is hosting you.
The fee is EC$125 for a single entry within three months or EC$190 for multiple entries across one year. The government lists processing at five working days and wants the form at least two weeks before the trip, so leave a margin for postage or email back-and-forth.
Airport applications are possible in some circumstances, but the government warns that they may be refused, so arriving without a visa is a gamble. Visitors usually receive up to six weeks on entry, and cruise passengers docking for under 24 hours do not need the visa.
