Summary

Embassy visa required
Visa type
Georgian visa from an embassy or consulate; e-Visa only with a valid supporting document
Stay limit
As stated on the e-Visa after you select Pakistan (duration and validity vary by travel-document country)

Pakistani citizens need a visa for Georgia. The official e-Visa portal lists Pakistan among nationalities that may use the e-Visa only with a valid supporting document: a Schengen visa, a valid visa from an OECD member country, or a valid residence permit of a Schengen or OECD country. Without one of those, apply at a Georgian embassy or consulate. The portal FAQ lists the e-Visa fee as US$20 plus a 2% service fee. A decision takes at least five working days.

Georgia requires Pakistani passport holders to hold a visa before travel. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs e-Visa portal is the online route, but Pakistan sits in a special group. Citizens and permanent residents of Pakistan may use the e-Visa only if they also hold a valid supporting document: a Schengen visa, a valid visa from an OECD member country, or a valid residence permit of a Schengen or OECD country.

If you have that supporting visa or residence permit, apply at evisa.gov.ge. You will upload a biometric photo, passport biodata page, a copy of the supporting document, proof of accommodation, a round-trip ticket if you are flying, travel insurance and proof of financial means. Business visitors replace the funds proof with proof of travel purpose. Every traveller, including children, needs a separate e-Visa and a separate passport.

The official FAQ lists the visa fee as US$20 plus a 2% service fee, paid by Visa or Mastercard after email verification. The fee is not refundable if the application is denied or unused. A decision takes at least five working days. Pay within the time window shown in your email or the application can be cancelled. Additional identity checks may appear in the online flow; follow only prompts on the official site. Fill the form in English only, verify the email within the stated hour, and double-check that spellings match your passport before you pay.

Without a qualifying supporting document, the e-Visa route is not available for Pakistani travel documents. In that case apply through a Georgian embassy or consulate under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs rules. Do not rely on third-party sites that skip the supporting-document requirement — the countries list on evisa.gov.ge is the rule that matters.

Duration of stay and validity depend on the travel-document country selected on the portal, so read the stay printed on your e-Visa carefully. Validity is the window in which you may enter; duration of stay is how long you may remain. Print the PDF and carry passport, purpose proof, accommodation, insurance and funds documents when you cross the border. Georgia does not publish an official approval or refusal rate for Pakistani applicants. If your e-Visa PDF is lost, contact contact@evisa.gov.ge during the portal's published support hours. Never alter the PDF; if details are wrong, you must apply again because fees are not refunded for applicant mistakes.
