A qatar visit visa for pakistan passport holders is decided by Qatar’s Ministry of Interior rules for your nationality and trip—not by a screenshot from a travel agent. Some nationalities enter visa-free or with visa on arrival; others need prior electronic authorisation. Pakistani applicants should treat prior authorisation as the default planning assumption until the official MOI / Hayya / Visit Qatar tools say otherwise for their case. This guide maps the official portals, product themes, documents, and what you must verify live.
VisitVisaInfo shares general information from official sources. We are not a government agency or visa centre, and we do not lodge applications or give legal advice. Always re-check the official page before you pay or book travel.
Who needs a Qatar visit visa?
Qatar’s tourism site and MOI visa portals publish nationality-based entry rules. For a Pakistani passport:
- Open Visit Qatar — visas and the MOI Qatar Visas portal.
- Complete any nationality / eligibility check the pages provide for your travel document.
- Do not invent visa-free or VOA status from unofficial lists.
If prior authorisation is required, you will be steered to an electronic visit / tourist product (often via Hayya for tourism categories) or another MOI visit category (family, business, etc.).
Official channels Pakistani applicants use
1. MOI Qatar Visas portal. The Ministry of Interior hosts the central Qatar Visas gateway and related visa services / inquiry tools. Use MOI pages to understand product families, track certain approvals, and confirm which digital front-end (Hayya or another) currently accepts tourist filings.
2. Hayya portal. Hayya is Qatar’s official visitor authorisation platform used for designated tourist and event-linked products. When Visit Qatar or MOI directs Pakistani tourists to Hayya, create an account there, select the tourist / visit category the wizard shows for your nationality, upload documents, pay the fee displayed at checkout, and track the decision in the same account.
Hayya’s scope has changed over time (including major event periods). Always read the live product description on hayya.qa the day you apply—do not rely on an old World Cup-era guide.
3. Visit Qatar information hub. Visit Qatar’s visas page summarises entry options for travellers and links into the apply portals. It is the tourism authority’s official orientation page, not a third-party visa seller.
Document themes for a Pakistan → Qatar visit file
Exact uploads depend on the product Hayya / MOI assigns. Typical themes:
- Passport bio page (validity rules are set on the live form—often several months beyond entry; confirm)
- Personal photograph meeting portal specs
- Accommodation proof (hotel booking or host details)
- Return or onward ticket when requested
- Travel / health insurance if the product checklist requires it
- Payment card for the fee shown at checkout
- For family or sponsored visits: relationship documents and Qatar ID details of the host as listed on MOI
Prepare clear colour scans. Blurry passport images are a common reason portals reject uploads before adjudication even begins.
Fees, stay length, and processing
Our pack does not publish a fixed QAR fee, stay length, or decision window for Pakistan × Qatar.
- Quote only the amount shown at Hayya / MOI checkout for the product you select.
- Stay and validity bands are printed on the approval / visa notice—read that document, not a blog table.
- Processing depends on the product SLA and any enhanced checks; use the portal status page only.
- Approval or refusal rates for Pakistani applicants are not officially published here.
How to apply (practical sequence)
- Check nationality rules on Visit Qatar and MOI Qatar Visas.
- If directed to Hayya, register at hayya.qa and choose the tourist / visit category offered for your passport.
- Upload documents exactly as the checklist lists them.
- Pay the live fee and save the application reference.
- Track status on Hayya / MOI inquiry tools until a decision appears.
- Travel only with the approved authorisation and the same passport used in the application.
If Hayya does not offer a tourist product for your case, return to MOI guidance for sponsor-based or embassy alternatives—do not force a wrong category.
