Pakistan is on the official list of countries whose nationals need a visa to enter Togo, published on the government’s Togo Voyage platform (voyage.gouv.tg). Visa exemption is limited mainly to ECOWAS member states. Togo no longer issues visas on arrival, so a Pakistani traveller must apply online, pay and receive an approval email before reaching the border. Without an official entry document you will be turned back. The tourist visa runs from 25,000 CFA francs (1 to 15 days, single entry) to 65,000 CFA francs (31 to 90 days, multiple entries).
Togo is a narrow strip of West Africa, running from the beaches of Lomé on the Gulf of Guinea to the hills and villages of the north. Pakistani visitors need a visa, and the government handles every part of entry through one official website, Togo Voyage, at voyage.gouv.tg.
The platform publishes two lists. The first, of countries exempt from a visa, is made up mainly of ECOWAS members such as Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal. The second, of countries whose nationals must obtain a Togolese visa, includes Pakistan. Togo has also stopped issuing visas on arrival, so your visa has to be approved before you reach the border.
Start by creating an account with a working email address, then fill in the immigration form and the visa request. Required documents are a scan of the first three pages of a passport valid at least three months beyond the visa, a recent photo and, for air arrivals, a flight booking. Insurance, a hotel booking and an invitation letter are strongly recommended, and a bank statement is optional.
Tourist visa prices depend on the length of stay: 25,000 CFA francs for a single entry of up to 15 days, 35,000 for multiple entries over the same period, 45,000 for 16 to 30 days and 65,000 for 31 to 90 days. You pay online by Visa or Mastercard, or with TMoney or Flooz mobile money.
Togo processes requests in up to five working days and charges more if you apply less than six days before arrival. On landing, show the same passport, your immigration slip with its QR code and the approval reference, along with a yellow vaccination card that includes yellow fever.
