Pakistan is on the Immigration Division’s list of countries whose citizens do not require entry visas for Trinidad and Tobago, published by the Ministry of Homeland Security (September 2024 version). A Pakistani passport holder visiting for tourism or business therefore does not apply in advance. Entry is decided by the immigration officer on arrival. The government’s immigration portal says visa-exempt visitors can usually stay up to 90 days, with a passport valid six months beyond the stay and, if asked, proof of funds and a return or onward ticket.
Trinidad and Tobago, the twin-island republic at the southern tip of the Caribbean, is famous for its Carnival, steelpan music, the leatherback turtles of Grande Riviere and the beaches of Tobago. It is one of the few Caribbean countries that Pakistani citizens can visit without a visa.
The Immigration Division, part of the Ministry of Homeland Security, publishes a list of countries whose citizens do not require entry visas. Pakistan is on the current September 2024 version, as it was on the February 2024 list, together with Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, Malaysia, Singapore and many Commonwealth states.
That means no advance application. You present your passport at the port of entry, where an immigration officer decides how long you may stay. The government’s immigration portal says most visa-exempt visitors can stay for up to 90 days, for tourism or business purposes only.
Carry a passport valid at least six months beyond your stay, a return or onward ticket and evidence of enough money. The Immigration Division also links to an online arrival and departure card on Travel.gov.tt. Working or studying requires a separate permit, and officers can refuse entry at their discretion.
If you need more time, book an extension appointment at least two weeks before your stamp expires, through the Port of Spain, San Fernando or Tobago office email. Nationals who do need a visa pay TTD 800 for a multiple-entry eVisa, but that fee does not apply to Pakistanis.
