Schengen Visa Documents Checklist Pakistan

Consulates and visa centres may ask for more than the EU baseline. Use this as a starting checklist, then follow the list for your main destination and city of residence:

1. Valid passport (usually valid at least 3 months after planned departure from Schengen)
2. Completed Schengen visa application form
3. ICAO-compliant photo
4. Travel medical insurance (emergency care, hospitalisation, repatriation)
5. Proof of purpose, funds, accommodation, and intention to return
6. Fingerprints when lodging (some exemptions; often reused within 59 months)

Your local Spain, France, Italy, or other mission checklist may ask for extra bank or sponsor papers. Follow that post’s list.

From the European Commission’s harmonised short-stay schedule (verify live before you pay):

1. Adults: €90
2. Children 6–12: €45 (where that band applies)
3. Visa centre (VAC) service fees are extra

2. Decision: normally 15 days, up to 45 days if more examination is needed
